Salvation Verses
The greatest gift — God's plan of redemption through Jesus Christ.
Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.
And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, {and} glory in thy praise.
And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the LORD beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite. {Ornan: also called, Araunah}
Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness.
Ye shall not {need} to fight in this {battle}: set yourselves, stand ye {still}, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD {will be} with you.
And the priests killed them, and they made reconciliation with their blood upon the altar, to make an atonement for all Israel: for the king commanded {that} the burnt offering and the sin offering {should be made} for all Israel.
Thus the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all {other}, and guided them on every side.
Therefore thou deliveredst them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou heardest {them} from heaven; and according to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them saviours, who saved them out of the hand of their enemies.
For the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy {things}, and for the sin offerings to make an atonement for Israel, and {for} all the work of the house of our God.
Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified? {full...: Heb. of lips}
He also {shall be} my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.
Behold now, I have ordered {my} cause; I know that I shall be justified.
